Dan Fox

Travelling in a container ship from England to China, Dan Fox is a writer exploring subjects that can house multitudes. Think of the cultural history of limbo through ocean wilderness, meeting ghosts, artists, sailors and Dan’s oldest brother. As a previous co-editor of Frieze for twenty years, we travel through his sharp mind. Celebrating the daring presence of pop icons, he writes on pretentiousness as the engine oil of culture. Did you know that Dan is also a vocalist in the art-rock band The God in Hackney? You can catch him on the airwaves of London’s NTS, sitting next to artist Michael Portnoy and other sensuous voices. Dan is the script writer and occasional voice actor of our Extra Extra radio show.
