Ivo Victoria

Since exiting the familiar site of Antwerp, where he grew up, Belgian author Ivo Victoria resides in Amsterdam’s canal-riven city: working concurrently on a volume of essays, a collection of shorts and a cinematic adaptation to his novel Billie & Seb. His prodigious output consists of the widely-lauded titles: How I Never Won the Tour de France for Twelve Year Olds (and that I’m sorry) (2009), Luckily We Are Powerless (2011) and Thieves of Fire (2014), amongst other tales bound by wonder and a sense of identification only great storytelling affords.
