Interested by figurative art grounded in realism, artist Jansson Stegner studies the great liberty of conveying expressions. As a teenager, he dreamed of being a comic book artist. Inspired by imaginative figurations of artists such as Egon Schiele, Otto Dix and El Greco, Jansson aims to recreate painterly traditions, hoping to add something new, painting portraits of what reality could be.
