Out of fascination for the body as a highly sensitive and sensuous medium theatre scientist Lieve Dierckx has turned to dance and performance. From that vantage point she is especially interested in transcultural, transdisciplinary and transhistorical performances; in the rhythm and musicality of performing bodies in space. At the same time, as a spectator being as open as possible remains an everlasting point of attention. She writes and translates for a variety of magazines, makers and organizations.
